Resellers to Watch: 17 YouTube Channels for eBay, Poshmark, and Amazon

Here’s a sad but true story: when Kirstie and I first started watching haul videos we had been selling on eBay for MORE THAN A YEAR! Unlike many people, we didn’t get into reselling because we saw it on YouTube or Instagram, we just kind of bumped into it on our own. If I had discovered some of these channels sooner, I am confident that we would be at least a year ahead of where we are now in our eBay business. However, since I can’t leap into the future, I’m hoping to at least put you on the right path. If you’re new to reselling on eBay, Poshmark, …

Can I sell a used CPAP machine on eBay? If not, then where?

I don’t have sleep apea. In fact, despite telling my wife that I should probably have a sleep study done, I’ve never even seen a doctor about my sleep issues. Now, for someone without sleep apnea or a related prescription, I own a highly unusual number of used CPAP machines. As a reseller, I typically pick them up whenever I see them for sale at garage sales or thrift stores. In addition, I get texts or messages from people who don’t know where to sell a used CPAP machine and want to know if I’ll sell it on eBay. Long story short, I will keep buying them even though I can’t sell them on eBay. So, can anyone sell a used CPAP machine on eBay? Because everyone I talk to seems to have different answers and most people who are asking know someone who has gotten away with selling their used one online. However, just …

Best Used Shoe Brands to Sell on eBay

It has been a longstanding goal of mine to go an entire summer without wearing shoes.  Inside?  No shoes.  Outside?  No shoes.  Church?  No shoes.  Airport?  No shoes…and probably a visit to a security room.  Why this idea has always fascinated me, I don’t know… but it does seem to be at odds with my fascination (not weird, right? haha) for selling used shoes on eBay. If you are a footwear guy or gal, eBay is your playground.  There are currently 440,393 pairs of shoes on eBay in my size alone!  Used shoes, new shoes, rare shoes, shoes for 50%+ off retail – you name it, and you can find it.  And anywhere that there is a shopping bonanza for buyers, you can bet that there is a huge opportunity for sellers as well.  In the past 90 days, we have sold almost $5,000 worth of shoes (all used) on eBay. If I could only check two …

47 of the Best Men’s Clothing Brands to Sell on eBay

I have a confession to make.  I am a man, and I buy used clothing online.  This might not strike you as odd (it shouldn’t if you’re an aspiring reseller), but the majority of people we meet are surprised to find out that not only does used clothing sell extremely well online but that most of the top-selling clothing brands on eBay are men’s!  But wait, isn’t it women that love shopping?  Well, yes…maybe.  That is, there are a lot of women that DO love shopping.  Couple that with the fact that most clothing resellers are women, and you end up with an eBay marketplace that literally has 10x the amount of women’s clothes as men’s clothes listed.  Even with the massive influx of new sellers, if I want to buy a pair of used Levi’s in my size (511s, 34×36, preferably black) there are currently only 3 used options available and the cheapest is $25.50! So …

9 Tips and Tricks for Selling Clothes on eBay or Poshmark

When you first start selling on eBay and Poshmark everything is new and overwhelming. I know that, when I started, I felt like I spent as much time trying to figure out how to do things as much as actually doing them. In fact, I remember several times where I would become so obsessed with figuring out how to do something (optimize my eBay listing titles for example) that I wouldn’t get anything at all listed that day. Luckily, neither eBay nor Posh is overly complex and most people are able to figure how how to list and sell clothing without any issues. Then the problems creep in. Most people think they have figured out the reselling business and stop learning/growing. Even people who are trying to grow their businesses just keep doing the exact same thing every day and seem to think that the real key to growing their eBay business is simply to …

If you’re just getting started on eBay, you might be a little late to the party. 10 years ago people were listing everything they could get their hands on and it would sell overnight. People were buying houses with their profits. I even got a gold tooth. Not really. But it doesn’t matter because those golden days are long gone. Or are they?! Believe it or not there are still people who are making a ton of money on eBay. The problem is, their success is overshadowed by the thousands of people who are barely making it from month to month as their flipping business slowly dies. So what’s the difference between the two groups? Well, the group that is failing is doing everything the exact same way. They watch the same videos on YouTube, follow the same people on Instagram and have the same business model (thrift, list, repeat). If you want to be …
