We were shocked a few days ago to receive an email from eBay telling us that the “Guides” section of their website would soon be taken down. The Guides section has long been used by buyers to give information to both eBay buyers and sellers and to drive traffic to their listings. At the time we received the doom email from eBay, there were around 92,000 guides published on their site. We had put a significant amount of time into writing a couple of guides and, recognizing that, eBay suggested that if we wanted our guide to stay online they should be copied and pasted onto a blog. Well, since most people don’t have the ability or desire to do this (not to mention many who wrote guides are no longer active on eBay), we decided to preserve the top ones. Please not that we did not create this content and so we cannot take credit for some of the terrible formatting and editing. Instead, we have preserved as closely as possible the original writings of the respective authors.
*We have credited all the original authors and linked their stores. If you are an original author of any of the following and want your article taken off the net, please contact us.
